What I've Been Doing in Unova~

A little slow, it seems. I've only had the game a little over 24 hours, and I've both been playing with the Dream World and some of the other functions in the game.

I was primarily going for the C-Gear when I started, because for some reason, that was a function I really wanted to play with. The Dream World is a pretty nice distraction, though the unfortunate thing is, its very restrictive in what you can do. You can only transfer a single Pokemon from the selection you find while looking around, but you can transfer as many items as you want. Finally, you only get an hour in the Dream World, and cannot travel to the Dream Island if you transfer a Pokemon across on your first run; I haven't tested it yet, but I've heard that you can go through the areas again, if you don't send a Pokemon across your initial time.

You're going to be looking to get 5,000 and 10,000 Dream Points initially, as like the PokeWalker, different areas need unlocking. Unlike the PokeWalker however, once you reach 15,000 and 20,000 Dream Points, new items and Pokemon become available in the multiple areas for you to find. I'm also pending if these areas can be accessed if you've only travelled through one and transferred a Pokemon to your High Link Forest, but all will become clear eventually, I feel. (still only got a small number of Dream Points; 180, if I remember correctly, lol...)

Anyway, I've been breezing through the first few areas of the game; I'm currently in the city where the Pokemon Musical building is, though I haven't used the feature myself, yet.I've been more focusing on the Gyms, capturing and training Pokemon.

I've had a few temporary members, such as Dageki for Aloe's Gym, and Hiyappu for the first Gym, and currently, I have a temporary member in Darumakka. I doubt I'll end up training it up to Level 35 for Hihidaruma, though... but its possible. I'd much rather pick up a Hitomoshi, regardless of how far away acquiring one is.

Anyway, I'm currently just training some Pokemon before the 4th Gym, and will probably pick the game back up a little later, when I have the time.

My Pokemon White Version Finally Arrives!

It certainly took its time to get here! Thankfully though, I'll not really miss anything, considering Victini will more than likely come again as an event for the Japanese versions, so long as I reach the 7th Gym during Winter, I'll still manage to get Kumashun (and by extension, Tsunbeaa) and the items you can only get in Winter, and the third event isn't here until the 17th!

I've opted to go with Tsutaja as my Starter-- oh, sorry. I should say "Snivy" now, shouldn't I? Not sure what other Pokemon I'll end up using, though.

Anyway, I've only just started playing (first two battles have literally only just been done), but I'm certainly looking forward to really getting into the game. I'll probably be back to randomly post entries while I play, including what my party ends up being along the way.
