More New Pokemon! 6 Days to go!

Well, there's only 6 days until Pokemon Black & White hit Japanese stores, and last night, I saw a whole list of Pokemon in an update on Serebii. There are some really really awesome Pokemon in this, while others don't really look as impressive... which will also be including Pokabu's first stage evolution, again. (now that they're kind of legitimate, I feel the need to talk about them, again)

CoroCoro Pages 6 & 7!

Basurao
Type: Water
Abilities: Reckless/Adaptability

I think I mentioned before that this Pokemon reminds me of Carvahna. If not, well it does. Though it was only shown to us in a rather terrible screen shot, before. Now we can actually see it, and it has an alternate form, too! (I do believe one is on Black and the other, on White)

I don't really have a very big opinion on it, to be honest. It looks like a Pokemon, and that's good enough for me! xD

Yorterrie
Type: Normal
Abilities: Vital Spirit/Pick-Up

Not a fan. Though its nice to see then use a dog as a Normal-type instead of the obvious cat again. Based on a Yorkshire Terrier. (probably more widely known as a Yorkie, I think-- not much of a dog person, lol)

Choroneko
Type: Dark
Abilities: Limber/Acrobatic

Interesting to see the obligatory cat Pokemon is a Dark-type instead of a Normal-type, this time! Its design looks a little weird, but with new Pokemon, I suppose that's something to be expected. The colours kind of remind me of Stunky and Skuntank, who interestingly enough, were also Dark-type Pokemon of Generation IV.

Desukaan
Type: Ghost
Abilities Mummy

This creepy son-of-a-coffin is one of the Pokemon we previously only saw the back of in a screen shot. I still don't think it really looks like a Pokemon... but eh. Not a fan of it, and I'll leave it at that.

Ononokusu
Type: Dragon
Abilities: Rivalry/Mold Breaker

Another Dragon-type Pokemon. Apparently the final stage evolution of Kibago, and finally a pure Dragon-type, losing that 4x weakness that has haunted Dragon-types since Generation I. At least as far as the CoroCoro scan apparently says.

Denchura
Type: Bug/Electric
Abilities Compound Eyes/Tension

Here we go! Denchura is another of those Pokemon we saw in that Doubles battle screen shot where two of the Pokemon we didn't see from the front. We finally do, and it doesn't really look like Ariados. Thankfully. I'd sum it up as laziness on their part... xD Still a favourite for me, and the ability Tension, which stops the opponent using berries will really screw over Gyarados Wacan Berry users. Muahahahaha!

Doryuuzu
Type: Ground/Steel
Abilities: Sand Gun/Sand Power

Why do the ability names sound smarter than the ones on Serebii?
Anyway, Doryuuzu looks as you would expect; a mole with giant metallic claws and one that will probably fit over its face like a helmet. I could venture to guess this'll be a pretty slow Pokemon, like Sandslash.

CoroCoro Pages 8 & 9!

Will be in the next update. Otherwise we'd have massive page updates. The next update will have one of those really awesome Generation V Pokemon in it, though. So stay tuned!
